Lite-On Technology (TW 2301) today reported March consolidated revenue of NT$18.28 billion with a growth of 19% M-o-M and 11% Y-o-Y. All strategic business groups showed steady consecutive growth, resulting from increased end-market demand. Sales revenue for Q1 reached NT$ 51.39 billion, up 11% Y-o-Y.
     Thanks to increases in global demand for networking devices and server power management systems in cloud computing applications, mobiles devices and game consoles, Power SBG posted a revenue growth of approximately 10% Y-o-Y and over 20% M-o-M. Meanwhile, as the global demand for mobiles devices increased, Camera Module showed a remarkable revenue growth of over 80% Y-o-Y and 20% M-o-M, supported by high megapixel product expansion and smooth delivery, as well as ongoing gains in the global market shares of smartphoness and tablets.
     As for storage devices, thanks to increased demand and ongoing market share gains, Solid State Drive (SSD) presented a growth of over 30% Y-o-Y and 10% M-o-M while products for game console application presented impressive yearly growth.
     LED Components and Lighting products posted a growth of approximately 20% M-o-M, which is attributable to a growing demand.
     Moreover, Multi-Function Peripherals presented a revenue expansion of over 30% Y-o-Y, mainly thanks to the delivery growth of its laser models, HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC keyboards and peripherals), supported by ongoing global market share gains as well as the smooth delivery of tablet keyboards, posted a revenue growth of over 20% Y-o-Y while Enclosure also posted a revenue growth of over 50% Y-o-Y, driven by the smooth delivery of high-end server enclosure products, which resulted in revenue growths of over 30% Y-o-Y in the Mechanical Competence SBG in March.
