At the 2014 Photonics Festival in Taiwan, Lite-On Technology presents its new generation lineup of LED lighting components with the theme of “Origin of Lights, Lite-On Inspire Innovation”. The spotlight will be on the excellent 3000lm/$ market’s leading high efficiency light source product.

Lite-On group CEO Warren Chen stressed that LEDs have always been one of the key growth drivers for the Lite-On Group, and the whole exhibited product lineup demonstrates Lite-On’s excellence in technology and its well-thought-out blueprint for different lighting market segments, such as ultrathin backlight units, general lighting, outdoor lighting, automotive and plant lighting in the future. Vice President Wu Duen-Yi visited Lite-On’s booth after the opening ceremony, where CEO Warren Chen greeted him and invited him to experience Lite-On’s LED total solution from point, linear, through to surface light sources.

Foreseeing market trends, Lite-On launched the revolutionary Chip Scale Package (CSP) series last year, the smallest packaging light source on the market, using a “Flip Chip” base with a metal eutectic process to ensure high efficacy and thermal stability during high voltage drive. And this year, Lite-On successfully broke through a technical barrier and launched a new 2W package in the form of its cool white 110lm/W, CRI 80, 3000lm/$ high efficiency product. This new product is able to optimize LED color mixing and a 2nd optical design, to provide cost competence for customer lighting designs. Furthermore, Lite-On is also exhibiting small-size high-voltage PLCC components, high CRI HV LED, LED filament and the large-size ceramic CoB series at the same time.

At the 2014 Photonics Festival in Taiwan , Lite-On’s whole new LED lighting solution for shows outstanding R&D capabilities and its strength to support LED components to worldwide customers in the fast growing market of lighting, 4C and industrial application.
