Lite-On Technology (TW 2301) today reported July consolidated revenue of NT$20.81 billion with growths of 3% M-o-M and 16% Y-o-Y. All core businesses showed steady consecutive growth, resulting from increased end-market demand, coupled with ongoing market share gains. Lite-On’s cumulative consolidated revenue from January to July reached NT$131.05 billion, up 15% Y-o-Y.
     The Optoelectronics business segment contributed a 27% share of Lite-On’s overall revenue in July. Thanks to growing demand, LED Components and Lighting products presented consecutive growth; Camera Module enjoyed a remarkable revenue growth of over 70% Y-o-Y, supported by high megapixel product expansion and smooth delivery, as well as ongoing global market shares gains of smartphoness and tablets, resulting in Optoelectronics business revenue as a whole growing by 40%.
     The Information Technologies business segment accounted for 47% of the total revenue with a growth of 24% Y-o-Y, of which power supplies revenue posted a growth of approximately 30% Y-o-Y, resulting from increases in global demand for server power management systems in cloud computing applications, mobiles devices, game consoles and PCs. Moreover, HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC keyboards and peripherals) enjoyed a revenue growth of nearly 30% Y-o-Y, driven by ongoing market share gains as well as the smooth delivery of tablet keyboards, while Enclosure posted a revenue growth of nearly 30% Y-o-Y driven by a shipment growth of high-end server enclosure products, coupled with demand growth from the PC market in July.
     Storage business accounted for 18% of July revenue, up 20% Y-oY, thanks to increased demand, coupled with ongoing market share gains, Solid State Drive (SSD) presented a revenue growth of over 60% Y-o-Y.
