Lite-On Technology Corporation has won a Corporate Citizenship Award from Common Wealth Magazine for the eighth year in a row. This recognition is attributable to Lite-On’s successful transformation from conventional PC fields while maintaining long-term stable profitability, and its continuous efforts to implement Corporate Social Environmental Responsibility (CSER) policies, coupled with its long-term (more than a decade) social involvement programs, e.g. talent cultivation, support for the vulnerable, community care, etc. 
     Making every effort to be a good corporate citizen, while simultaneously concentrating on sales and profits as engines of growth, Lite-On has succeeded in putting active CSER programs into practice. In 2013, Lite-On started Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) providing 24-hour toll-free phones or email channels of communication for strictly confidential consulting services assisting employees who need support regarding health, psychological counseling, medical treatment, legal help, etc. In 2013, Lite-On was selected as a Member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI); ranked first, Industry Leader of Computers & Peripherals and Office Electronics (i.e. Computer Hardware) for the third consecutive year, demonstrating its success in achieving international sustainability practices standards. In July 2014, Lite-On was graded A++ in the Institute of Securities and Future Markets Development’s 11th Information Disclosure Assessment.
