Lite-On Technology (TW 2301) today reported November consolidated revenue of NT$19.99 billion, an increase of 2% both M-o-M and Y-o-Y. All core businesses showed steady consecutive growth, resulting from stable end-market demand. Lite-On’s cumulative consolidated revenue from January to November reached NT$210.22 billion, up 9% Y-o-Y.
The Optoelectronics business segment achieved a revenue increase of nearly 10% Y-o-Y in November and contributed a 27% share of Lite-On’s overall revenue. Thanks to growing demand, LED Components and Lighting products presented a growth of over 20% Y-o-Y. Meanwhile, Camera Module presented consecutive growth, supported by an increased delivery of high megapixel products, as well as the launch of new models of smartphoness onto the end market.
The Information Technologies business segment accounted for 47% of Lite-On’s total revenue, of which Power Supplies posted a growth of approximately 10% Y-o-Y resulting from increases in global demand for server power management systems in cloud computing applications, and mobiles devices. Meanwhile, thanks to ongoing market share gains as well as the delivery growth of tablet keyboards, HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC keyboards and peripherals) enjoyed a revenue growth of nearly 20% Y-o-Y; Multi-Function Peripherals presented a revenue expansion of over 10% Y-o-Y driven by the delivery growth of its laser models.
Storage business maintained the same level as during the same period last year, accounting for 17% of Lite-On’s total revenue.
