Lite-On Technology (2301-tw) today reported March consolidated revenue of NT$18.19 billion, up 26% M-o-M and maintaining the same level as during the same period last year. Core businesses showed healthy order intakes, resulting from stable end-market demand. Cumulative sales for January and March totaled NT$51.55 billion, stayed flat Y-o-Y.
     The Optoelectronics business segment contributed a 26% share of Lite-On’s overall revenue, and achieved a revenue increase of 29% M-o-M in March. Thanks to the smooth delivery of LED street lighting in North America and Asia, coupled with growing demand for vehicle lighting, consumer and mobiles applications, LED Components and Lighting products achieved revenue growths of approximately 20% both M-o-M and Y-o-Y.
     The Information Technologies business segment accounted for 48% of sales with revenue growths of 28% M-o-M and 5% Y-o-Y, of which Power Systems posted revenue growths of approximately 20% M-o-M and 10% Y-o-Y resulting from increases in global demand for server power management systems in cloud computing application and mobiles devices. Meanwhile, thanks to ongoing market share gains as well as delivery growth, HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC Keyboards and Peripherals) posted sales growths of approximately 40% M-o-M and over 20% Y-o-Y.
     The Storage accounted for 15% of total revenue, as a result of seasonality.
