LITE-ON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its June consolidated revenue of NT$14.29 billion, up 4% M-o-M and down 12% Y-o-Y, hitting a monthly record high in 2020. Thanks to the stable demand from its core business, cumulative sales for January and June totaled NT$74.34 billion.

Opto-electronics business segment contributed a 18% share of total sales, of which, thanks to ongoing demand growth of LED components of invisible LED, 5G and AIoT applications, UV LED applied to medical, disinfection, water and air purification, coupled with delivery growth of LED outdoor lighting, Opto-electronics posted a growth of approximately 10% M-o-M.

Information Technologies business accounted for 67% of sales, of which, shipment growth in high-end server and networking power management systems for cloud computing as well as power adapters and keyboards for notebook PC supported Information Technologies a continued monthly sales growth in June. Meanwhile, the Storage segment accounted for 12% of total revenue with a sales growth of about 5% M-o-M.
