LITE-ON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its May consolidated revenue of NT$13.72 billion, maintaining as the same level as previous month and decreasing 7% Y-o-Y. Thanks to the stable demand from its core business, cumulative sales for January and May totaled NT$60.05 billion.

Opto-electronics business segment contributed a 17% share of total sales, of which, delivery in LED/outdoor lighting continued growing while LED components posted a growth of over 10% Y-o-Y supported by strong demand from 5G and AIoT applications, as well as UV LED applied to medical, disinfection, water and air purification.

Information Technologies business accounted for 68% of sales, of which, high-end server and networking power management systems for cloud computing, Notebook PC adapters, and HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC Keyboards and Peripherals) posted yearly delivery growth in May. Meanwhile, the Storage segment accounted for 12% of total revenue with a sales growth of over 20% M-o-M.
