Lite-On Technology (2301-tw) today reported June consolidated revenue of NT$17.73 billion with a growth of 6% M-o-M and a decrease of 12% Y-o-Y. Due to the impact of slowdowns in worldwide ICT end-market demands in the 1st half of this year, cumulative sales for January to June totaled NT$103.21 billion, a decrease of 6% Y-o-Y.
     The Optoelectronics business segment contributed a 23% share of Lite-On’s overall revenue. Thanks to the smooth delivery of LED street lighting in North America and Asia, coupled with increasing demand for vehicle lighting, LED Components and Lighting products revenue continued to grow. The Information
     Technologies business segment accounted for 51% of sales, with revenue growths of 11% M-o-M and 1% Y-o-Y, of which Power Systems’ June revenue maintained the same level as during the same period last year, a result of increases in global demand for server power management systems in cloud computing applications and mobiles devices. Meanwhile, thanks to ongoing market share gains as well as delivery growth, HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC Keyboards and Peripherals) posted a June revenue increase of approximately 10% Y-o-Y. Multi-Function Peripherals achieved a similar approximately 10% Y-o-Y June revenue increase thanks to ongoing market share gains as well as the delivery growth of its laser models.
     The Storage business segment accounted for 15% of total revenue, a result of declining end-demand for worldwide PC applications.
