LITE-ON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its January consolidated revenue of NT$11.3 billion with a decrease of 22% M-o-M and 28%Y-o-Y, mainly impacted by the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday shutdown.
Opto-electronics business segment contributed a 20% share of total sales. Thanks to the demand growth from 5G and AIoT applications, January sales of Opto-electronics maintained revenue the same level as last month.
Information Technologies business accounted for 66% of sales, of which, stable demands seen in networking power management systems and server enclosure for cloud computing, coupled with power supplies for AI smart home devices. At the same time, ongoing market share gains were posted in HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC Keyboards and Peripherals).
Meanwhile, Storage segment accounted for 8% of total revenue.
