Lite-On Technology (2301-tw) today reported June consolidated revenue of NT$19.11 billion, up 10% M-o-M and 8% Y-o-Y, hitting a monthly record high for eight months. Cumulative sales from January to June totaled NT$103.59 billion, continued to grow over last year.
     The Optoelectronics business segment contributed a 22% share of Lite-On’s overall revenue with a sales growth of 3% Y-o-Y. Thanks to ongoing market share gains from LED components and outdoor street lighting as well as smooth delivery of vehicle lighting, overall LED and lighting business posted a revenue growth of approximately 20% Y-o-Y.
     The Information Technologies business segment accounted for 51% of sales with a revenue growth of 7% Y-o-Y, of which, cloud computing application products posted continuous revenue growth year-on-year, supported by delivery expansion of high-end server enclosures as well as server and networking power management systems, one of the key growth drivers for power systems business.
     The Storage business segment accounted for 21% of total revenue with a sales growth of over 40% Y-o-Y, as a result of increased end-market demand.
