Lite-On Technology (2301-tw) today reported September consolidated revenue of NT$22.26 billion, up 6% M-o-M and 8% Y-o-Y, hitting a monthly record high. Thanks to stable market demand of Lite-On’s core business, cumulative sales from January to September totaled NT$166.27 billion, up 4% Y-o-Y. The revenue of third quarter reached 62.68 billion, up 17% Q-o-Q and 12% Y-o-Y, also hitting a quarterly record high.
     The Optoelectronics business segment contributed a 23% share of Lite-On’s overall revenue. Thanks to ongoing market share gains in LED components and outdoor lighting, the smooth delivery of vehicle lighting, market expansion of street lighting, coupled with increasing shipment of high-end camera module, the Optoelectronics posted revenue growths of 6% M-o-M and 5% Y-o-Y in September.
     The Information Technologies business accounted for 51% of sales with a revenue growth of 9% M-o-M and 10% Y-o-Y, of which, cloud computing application products posted continuous revenue growth year-on-year, supported by shipment growth of high-end server and networking power management systems as well as high-end server enclosures. Meanwhile, the revenue growth was driven by ongoing market share gains in HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC Keyboards and Peripherals) and delivery growth in laser models of Multi-Function Peripherals.
     The Storage business segment accounted for 19% of total revenue with a yearly growth of over 20%, as a result of increased end demand from cloud computing.
