Lite-On Technology (2301-tw) today reported March consolidated revenue of NT$19.1 billion, up 19% M-o-M, 4% Y-o-Y. Thanks to stable end demand from core businesses, cumulative sales for January and March totaled NT$51.35 billion, up 3% Y/Y.
     Optoelectronics business segment contributed a 26% share of total sales. Thanks to the growing demand from invisible LED, ongoing market share gains in LED components, smooth delivery of LED vehicle lighting and market expansion of LED street lighting, coupled with increasing shipment of high-end camera modules, the Optoelectronics March revenue posted a remarkable growth of approximately 20% Y-o-Y.
     Information Technologies business accounted for 52% of sales with an over 10% yearly growth, of which, cloud computing application revenue posted ongoing growth resulting from increased delivery of server and networking power management systems. Meanwhile, the growth was also driven by market share gains in HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC Keyboards and Peripherals) and delivery growth in laser models of Multi-Function Peripherals.
     The Storage segment accounted for 16% of total revenue.
