Lite-On Technology (TW 2301) today reported January consolidated revenue of NT$17.73 billion, up 6% Y-o-Y. All strategic business groups showed steady growth, resulting from solid end-market demand.
     Thanks to increases in the global demand for mobiles devices, Camera Module posted a remarkable revenue growth of 50% Y-o-Y, hitting a historic second monthly sales record high, supported by high-pixel product expansion and smooth delivery, as well as ongoing gains in the global market shares of smartphoness and tablets. Meanwhile, HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC keyboards and peripherals) presented a revenue growth of approximately 20% Y-o-Y, driven by ongoing global market share gains coupled with a delivery growth of tablet keyboards.
     As for storage devices, thanks to increased demand and ongoing market share gains, Solid State Drive (SSD) posted a substantial growth of approximately 40% Y-o-Y. Products for game console application also posted impressive yearly growths due to solid end demand.
